Fight The Food Fight, 2021

In November 2021, AppHarvest launched a Direct-to-Consumer platform selling our first product - The Food Fight Salsa. The surrounding campaign highlighting our dedication to an American-owned resilient food system invited everyone to “Join the Food Fight” by supporting the future of farming.

Campaign summary:

  • Achieved above-industry average conversion rate of 8.5%

  • Over 589k impressions

  • 1.3% total net audience growth in the first month

  • 8 original SKUs with product photography, item descriptions and product video

  • E-Commerce Shop launch including re-design of AppHarvest.com homepage
